Biography of Jack B. Corwin

Jack B. Corwin is the founder and President of Huntington Holdings, Inc. and Huntington Securities, LLC.

Mr. Corwin, thru Huntington Holdings, has primarily acquired mature manufacturing and distribution businesses that have had profitable histories. Industries in which he has acquired companies have included sporting goods, hardware, construction equipment, rubber and tire, welding equipment, and industrial controls. Approximately half of the businesses acquired had been privately-owned while the remainder were purchased from large public companies.

Prior to forming Huntington Holdings, Mr. Corwin was a Vice President of PruCapital, Inc. where he managed their leveraged acquisition program for the western part of the country. Before that he was employed by E.F. Hutton in its Executive/Corporate Services Department. Earlier he was an associate in the Corporate Finance department of Drexel Burnham Lambert in New York City where he participated in their first leveraged buyout. In his career, Mr. Corwin has been involved in over 150 corporate finance transactions.

Mr. Corwin graduated from Yale University in 1980 with an M.B.A. and from the University of Maryland in 1978 with a B.S. in business administration.

Mr. Corwin is a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the World President's Organization, and the Chief Executives Organization. He sits on the board of the William H. Parker Foundation; The Board of Advisors of the Stuart Ketchum YMCA and the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Chapter of WPO. In the past, Mr. Corwin has been co-chairman of the Board of AIDS Project Los Angeles and a member of the Executive Committee of YPOLA.
