Huntington Holdings, through an affiliate, has purchased a leasehold interest of the property occupied by Dollar Tree and Price Rite (Wakefern Corporation) in Swansea, Mass, 12 miles from Providence R.I.  The property is an outparcel of The Swansea Mall which is 706,000 square feet and is anchored by Macy's, Sears and Wal-Mart, with Toys "R" Us on another outparcel. The population of Swansea was 15,865 at the 2010 census, however, there are over 110,800 full-time employees within a ten-mile radius.  Major Employers include St. Anne’s Hospital, Bristol Community   College, Charlton Memorial Hospital, Lightolier and American Dryer Corporation, Seven major colleges and universities are within 16 miles of The Swansea Mall.

Dollar Tree has been a tenant in this property since 2002.  Dollar Tree, Inc. operates discount variety stores in the United States and Canada. Headquartered in Chesapeake, VA, Dollar Tree is the largest and most successful single-price-point retailer in the country.  Its stores offer merchandise at the fixed price of $1.00. The company’s stores provide consumable merchandise, which includes candy and food, and health and beauty care products; and household consumables, such as paper, plastics, household chemicals, and frozen and refrigerated food. Its stores also offer various merchandise that include toys, durable housewares, gifts, party goods, greeting cards, softlines, and other items; and seasonal goods consisting of Easter, Halloween, and Christmas merchandise. As of February 2, 2013, it operated 4671 stores in 47 states and the District of Columbia.

Dollar Tree is listed on the NASDAQ Exchange under the symbol DTRE.  It has a market cap of over $11 billion.  It has over $350 million of cash and debt of less than $275 million.
